Highlights of achievements:

·   Introduce and model all support operations to conform to ITIL standards. This improved response times and consistency by over 50%

o   ITIL areas of focus included change control, incident / problem / release management, and Lean continuous improvement models

·   Rebuild the support operations to utilize North American partners in every region establishing a centralized command and control for IT decision makers and support teams. This improved local support response times to all branches in North America by over 80%.

·   Lead projects that reduced the datacenter’s by 50%, upgrade all networking infrastructure to 35 branches, redesign the WAN routing architecture, and redesign the computing infrastructure to an HP based private cloud

o   Network upgrade and redesign project increased uptime by 50% going from spoke and hub model to one that was dynamic and redundant eliminating unscheduled outages

Edmund began his career with a secret clearance in the primary IBM mainframe computer lab for the B-2 Bomber division of Northrop (Now Northrop Grumman). He worked his way up from breaking down reports, to tape and print operations, and the becoming a mainframe console operator within the control center supporting thousands of aviation engineers and developers. The expansive mainframe environment was a key contributor to the bomber CAD (Computer Aided Design) operations.
